Has anyone received the program for this years Vintage Cup shoot?
I'd like to know how much money I'm going to spend - Not counting guns!

I can see you dropping $500.00/$600.00 in the Gunnerman Books Booth alone.

Timing is everything!

Just received the program in the mail, less than an hour after I posted this item!

Dennis, Is that $500/$600 for one or two books?

I received my Vintage Cup registration this weekend. Looking forward to another fun event.

Glad to see they reduced the main event from 130 to 100 targets and lowered the price (although they still charge extra to qualify for a trophy, which doesn't make sense to me.) Also, glad to see they are letting people shoot both the hammer and hammerless main events. Both moves should encourage more participation.

Good to hear Gunnerman Books and Sporting Collectibles will be back. They always have unique and nice items. I've been concerned that the Vintage Cup has had fewer vendors of affordable small items such as shooting accessories, clothing and collectibles. They add a lot to the flavor of the shoot, and are an attraction in themselves. There are certainly fewer of these type vendors at the Vintage Cup than at the Southern SXS shoot of late. I hope the Vintagers can find a way to make the event affordable for these smaller vendors that add so much to the character and appeal of the event.

Given the number of local vendors of quality sporting art, decoys, books, collectibles, etc. you at find each year at the nearby Easton Waterfowl Festival, I know there is some great potential there.

I'm also hoping the Vintagers have contracted with a better caterer for breakfast & lunch this year. I've been to a lot of charity shoots at Pintail that had great food like pig roasts, BBQ, grilled sandwiches and fresh crab cakes, so I know there are some excellent local catering options on the eastern shore.

If not, the Dornoch House, the nice Scottish pub and grille tucked away right next door at Pintail Point's Hunters Oak Golf Club is open to the public for lunch and is an excellent alternative (and a good value) compared to a cold sandwich and potato chips in the tent. It also nicely fits the character of the event, and both the air conditioning and beverages are kept cold.

The Vintage Cup is always great fun, and I'm looking forward to going again this year.
