Best post in the thread popplecop!!!
Lots of old women on here who want to be "posting police" and say who and what should be said on here. I suspect Dave could make a small fortune if he put up for bid "in charge for a day" license, especially the for sale section to the highest bidder.
Like the kids say,if you don't like the poster or the post "just chill"

Unless we're talking obscenities or personal attacks if it's gun related it should be permisible to post it here and that INCLUDES politics as it applies to the firearms hobbies. However; No one is holding a gun to anyones head and forcing them to read posts they're not comfortable with. Our 2nd Amendment rights are constantly under attack from the liberals and socialists gun grabbers and the worse thing we could do is ignore them in the hopes they'll go away. Additionally;I may not have agreed with everything RWTF posted but I didn't see where he was causing anyone a real problem either. Jim
The 2nd Amendment IS an unalienable right.

Thanks for the updates on RWTF, glad to hear he's OK. I'll admit his posts often were a little different and I often didn't bother to read past the first couple of lines, but he seemed harmless. I'm on several forums regularly and he isn't even close to some guys in causing trouble online.

You wouldn't think it'd be that hard to recall the odor of skunk.

Good point, Jack. No one has ever been booted from a gun site for talking about guns or for lengthy posts. Obscenities and personal attacks (as well as bullying) are usually the reasons. As I admitted, Fox with the Runs seems to have mellowed, but there was a time when the smell was there. The ones who don't seem to remember are the ones who claim to seldom read past the first few lines.

Unless we're talking obscenities or personal attacks if it's gun related it should be permisible to post it here and that INCLUDES politics as it applies to the firearms hobbies. You may not remember, and you probably cannot look up the posts because Foxie had a tendency to go back and delete a lot of his posts, but he often posted racially offensive comments about Pres Obama (both as a candidate and as Pres) and once suggested that Hillary Clinton should be killed. I am not a fan of either of those politicians and wish that they would both just go away as soon as possible, but Foxie's comments were simply unacceptable.

How's this for offensive and inappropriate? Posted by Foxie on 9/1/09, and this is after he edited the post to tone it down. I'd love to be holding that power crazy ball-bustin' Billary's little pointy head under the waters of a nice mountain stream-for about half an hour, while listening to chamber music, a nice ice filled bucket of Krystal champagne nearby, maybe a little Beluga caviar and some mild garlic toast- then when the deed is done, we could toast the demise of the most evil *&^%$ since the Biblical Lillith- and it would have been done with class and taste. I would feel so much better I might even ask Sarah Brady Bill Bunch to be my guest at the next NRA Convention- with a 100 yard target pasted on the back of her dinner dress- open season guys!!
Edited by Run With The Fox (09/14/09 06:00 PM) The odor remains.
