It has been reported here and elsewhere, repeated over and over, and again and again, usually by the same individuals, of all the problems with Parker Reproduction single trigger guns...so let's do a poll...

If you are a past or present owner of a single trigger Parker Repro (please, only owners) have you?

1. Never had a problem.

-or-

2. Have had a problem. If so, would you please elaborate on the problem and tell us what attempts were made to fix it? Were these attempts done by a qualified gunsmith familiar with the Parker ST mechanism? If these single trigger issues were fixed, what was done to remedy the problem? Names of those gunsmiths that were successful would be most beneficial and appreciated by others.

I'll start it out...I, and a previous owner (the original purchaser) of my gun have never experienced a problem--it has functioned flawlessly for nearly a quarter of a century.

Owned two with no problems, had a third that was sold new in box, unfired, so it does not count. I think it is still unfired. Wish I had that one back for the price I sold it for years ago.

Owned 4, no problems. 20ga has had 1000's of round though it. (One exception, a 12 ga doubled the first round after I took it apart, never happened again).

I had one, no problems. My friend Oscar said " he was able to fix a couple by simply cleaning factory residue."

I have a twenty ga. and the only problem I have had (and still have) is the selector switch is terribly stiff... and I have used it a lot. Never tried to remedy it though. I don't have the necessary expertise to attempt to "fix" it and don't want anybody else in there - heard too many horror stories.
