I refinished the stock.
Notice the hammers and buttplate. There is no guarantee how a recase will come out. I asked for the red and they adjusted their process. There is always the chance that in the process warping will occur.
Is it worth it? It is up to you. Would I do it again? Yes, it was a learning experience. However I would not do it some of the guns I own as it would hurt the value.
