this is starting to look like 50k won't fill the orders. Was 50k only the minimum, not the increment? If so, we should be able to order 55k or 60k or whatever, correct?
I suggest a deadline for payment. If the 50k minimum order payment is not reached by the deadline, a new public statement and new deadline should be established. If, on the otherhand, the minimum or greater order payment is reached by the deadline, it should be closed and the order placed promptly. IMO, the list of us that stated we wanted hulls was a 'survey' to see if the next steps were worthwhile: Collecting the money, logistics for distribution, etc.
I also think that those honorable members volunteering to do this work should not go unrewarded. They'll surely incur costs in time, and almost certainly in fuel for travel and other things not obvious to the rest of us. I'll leave this to discussion here.
