This past weekend at the farm duck hunting we had the chance to shoot RST Nice Shot. In my Damascus 10 gauge Pittsburg Fire Arms Company S x S (most likely a Westley Richards) I was shooting the RST 2-7/8 inch shell with 1-1/4 oz. of #5 Nice Shot, my son shooting a Fox 16 gauge was using their 2-1/2 inch, 1 oz. of #5 Nice Shot.
These loads are the best we have found for ducks to date.
Low pressure, great patterns and a pleasure to shoot with plenty of killing power.
I can't wait to try them in January in Barnegat Bay in the late duck season.
It is my understanding that RST is in the process of producing 16 gauge, 2-1/2 inch Nice Shot in 5, 6 and 7 1/2 shot.

I just woke up under the tree. What is Nice Shot, please?

And, a warm welcome to the board. Yours are the reports I like to read.

Now that is very cool! Wonder how long until they put rifle and pistol bullets on the market?

I don't find these shells on the RST website. Am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks. TT

I spoke with the good folks at RST last week and they said that their nice shot shells would be available in about a month. Maybe if you call?

Any guesses as to how much this 'stuff' is gonna cost? RST lead is quite affordable... but can't imagine we'll be back to 'normal' premium non-tox prices.

In my phone call the figure of $75 per box came up. While it seems high, it is on par with other Tungten shells out there and I am sure that RST will put out a first rate product.

As an aside, it sounds like the shipping costs of getting the shot from the manufacturer are driving these prices.
