You got it, Stan-extractors are what I prefer for hunting/shooting in these parts. More than one 'smith has told me, if he didn't have ejector work, he would have a lot less to do.

Stan, you’re ny favorite kind of guy to try to get a rise from. Way too serious. I had a friend, now deceased, who often prefaced his assertions with the statement “it’s like anything else”. I would immediately say “no it’s not, it’s exactly like itself”. Drove him to distraction.

Every now and then, posts like this make me think of a Darne, but I really cannot think of which gun I have on hand I should displace with a Darne.

Gee Stan, I don’t know about my inability to understand analogies because I somehow managed to pick up a degree in comparative literature in a former life. I’m almost sure I heard someone mention the subject. No, maybe not, maybe I’m remembering that famous philosopher who said that “all comparisons are odious”.
