Does anyone know of a gunsmith that can machine, turn and grind) and fit a new ejector on an older H & H gun?

H & H, London, can deliver a very rough forging, but a lot of work would still need to be done to fit the ejector to the gun.

Certainly Stuart Newby in BC can do it, but I believe there are a couple of British gunsmiths in Ontario that would be closer to you. Nick Mackinson and Stephen Milton spring to mind.

For an ejector( if it is "older" is it an extractor?)I wouldn't be too hesitant to let a "local guy" do it. If he makes a royal mess out of it, it will not hurt the gun. You could simply trash (or frame) the new ejector.

Never underestimate the ability of a hack to screw up a good gun.
