I havent been shooting long and have already been through a few guns.
I have a Breda o/u around 1982. A G&S Holloway sxs sidelock,circa 1925.
Also,i have the Winchester sx3 Black Shadow semi auto.
I enjoy shooting clays at my local shooting ground and also have my own trap which i use on private land.
The Winchester is a lovely gun, does everything its supposed to do,but lacks any character or,dare i say, soul.
I have decided to px it for a AYA N0 3 in very nice condition.
I just feel more of a connection with the older guns.
Does this make sense to anybody or is it just me?
Makes all sense to me. I own 7 SxSs and one single shot, youngest gun being 1938. Earliest made in 1893, couple made in 1898, another in 1903, 1915, 1933, & 1937.
