Dear god... That checkering though...

If I had the bank roll, you better believe I'd have a CMSC 21 in my safe.

They lost one of the triggers. And, the one that is left, looks like it belongs on the 4 gauge model 21, it is large, boxy, and squarish. Looks like the triggers you see on the Remington imported Baikal single shots.

A Corvette doesn't look like a Ferrari.

Both are cool.

The frame is scaled. But the trigger guard and trigger need to accomodate a standard size finger, so they appear to be very large on that small frame.

I have seen this optical illusion in a Birmingham boxlock 28 gauge I have. The double triggers and trigger guard on that Salter and Varge appear to be very big.

Beautiful wood. Nice light game guns.

Very cool.

I am glad to be here.

I like it too, but nonetheless also find the trigger's prominence a little jarring. The bright gold plating grabs attention, a blued one would help reduce the distraction.

A posting like this invites comment.

Nice gun. I wonder if the trigger were blue instead of gold if it would look less noticeable? I still would enjoy the heck out of it and given time try to wear the gold off the trigger the old fashion way by shooting the heck out of it.

With those chokes is it seen as a mostly clay target gun of do you intend to use it in the field?

Really a nice gun. I like the gold single trigger and I wouldn't want it any smaller. All four of my guns have gold triggers, two 21 20's and two K80's.

This 21 looks a lot better than anything Ted ever showed us.

Jon, I agonized over how to choke this gun. How do you try to have a do all gun without screw in chokes? I don't get to hunt but a few days a year. I do however shoot Skeet most weekends at a beautiful club just 15 minutes from my door. I decided to make it a dedicated Skeet set with chokes conducive to the game...

I just returned from patterning my new 21 and also shot 2 rounds of Skeet. I had to throw my own targets on a 3 second delay.
Could there be anything worse than spending this kind of money and not being able to hit?

I won't have to answer that 'cause I shot a pair of 23's.
I love this gun!!
