Need recommendation on refinishing these barrels. Also, can the original pattern be duplicated and who might do this work?

Leave them alone Too many people just have to mess with a nice old gun. I would not think of re-doing the barrels

Mark: that pattern in spectacular when refinished, and was probably originally 'black & white' for the U.S. market. Examples are here http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/20948056

Double WoW! Wouldn't do a thing to that old beauty. Not my date to take out. Hope if you change her dress, you pick a good tailor.

Lovely gun! If you meant what you said about duplicating the original pattern, there is only one pattern and it is made into the barrels. A refinish in the original black and white will be beautiful. I believe that a man named Batchelder (sp) is the acknowledged expert on black and white refinishing. Someone with his name and contact info will be along shortly, I am sure...Geo

Not a thing wrong with bringing those barrels back to this condition and once again showing off their spectacular beauty.

bet they just show carry wear towards the breech ....and the rest of the barrel still shows good pattern...in which case I would leave them alone.... nice original condition classic; almost cult gun....

A recommendation: Get yourself a can of good quality paste wax. Give the exterior of the barrels a good polishing. The results may just deter you from refinishing these barrels. IMO: Original finish ,if still in decent condition, is always preferable. Jim

Refinish them if you like. I believe that to finish or refinish on most guns is a subjective decision. I draw the line on a gun of significant historic value where original finish is a critical component of the value. Outside that you gun your call.
I would redo the barrels done by Kearcher would be lovely
