I recently picked up a H. Pieper cape gun in need of hammers and screws. Both hammers are original but one has been broken and poorly repaired. Also 1 screw is broken and the other is not original. Anyone know where I might be able to source a hammer and some screws??? I'd buy a full set of hammers and screws in order to match if need be. Let me know. Thanks. Jim

finding a match to the original could be tough- but you might check with Larry Schuknecth at

he has a lot of odd parts and fixed a broken pair of hammers for me and you cannot see the repair.

ebay also sees a lot of hammers listed

The only lessons in my life I truly did learn from where the ones I paid for!
