Gentlemen ,would any of the Drilling Guys have any idea how " Rare " or Unique a 24 Ga. Miller and Val Greiss Drilling would be ? This is a Box Lock gun with 24 X 24 Over 8X57R X 360 Rifle ! The Gun is very petite and very pleasant to handle ,it has some unique components ,It has the Top Tang Safe ,Top Tang placed Selector for the Rifle ,or shotgun selection ,also the Flip Up Rear Peep also the lever to flip up the front sight ! It also has a Zeiss Diatal 6 Power scope mounted to a set of German Claw Mounts !I have owned the Gun for some time and have had RCBS make me a set of dies and the Rifle shoots Great and I use Fiocchi 24 Ga. Shells for the shotgun ! Thank You and will look forward to opinions !

Oohay, Your drilling sounds very nice and I am sure this configuration, especially the 24g barrels, is quite rare. Made for a lady or a youngster I would presume. I have seen petite drillings in old catalogues but never in the flesh as far as I can remember.
With kind regards, Jani

Jani , Thank You for the reply ,Since I have purchased the gun ,I have been keeping an eye out for other small bore Drillings and have noticed that you don't see very many guns smaller than a 16 Bore !My gun is nice ,someone refinished the wood at some point and was a little over zealous on the forend other than that it is a Fine Condition gun !

I would say it's quite rare. In my 20+ years fooling around with drillings, I have never seen one in that configuration. I have two Miller and Val Greiss drillings and both are in 16 and one is a hammer. Anyway will have to let Raimey chime in for more data.
