Just returned from a hunting trip and thought I'd chime in. Thanks for the very kind words as always gentlemen. Now that I've been doing this a while, my grain enhancement efforts have become less heavy handed, and more subtle and translucent. Extension blending is also my specialty and, while quite difficult, is very rewarding. Here's a 3" extension blend to a checkered butt on a minty LC Smith I completed recently. Happy to help if I can.

Mark blended the extension on my Lefever EE (pictures are posted on his website). I have shown this gun to many people and nobody has been able to tell what was done to the wood. Even after I tell them and show them the pictures you cannot see any line or see the difference in the real grain and the painted. Truly amazing. Thanks again Mark for the great work.
