OP Bruce in WV Sidelock Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 71 EPH of WV	I found an old butt plate, covered in white 'dust' in my Dad's old gun box. The design is worn, not sharp or crisp, but clearly there. There are an old Ithaca and an old Winchester butt plate in there. These are likely 50+ years old. I don't know if these have any value, maybe to someone restoring an older gun, but they were probably off side-by-sides he had re-stocked since that's all he ever owned. If there is any interest, you folks can decide if they have any value. If they do, we'll put a small price on them in the form of a donation to the forum and post them in the classifieds. Chuck H Sidelock Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 13,879 Likes: 15 Torrance, CA	Bruce, I believe that Ithaca buttplate is for a Crass or Lewis around the turn of the century or may even be late 1800's. I have a 1892 Crass with a buttplate similar or same as that.
