Le Chameau always look classy to me; camo Muck boots somewhat "red-neckie". I wear nothing anymore but Muck Boots because I can slip'em on and off without bending over to tie any laces or buckle any straps. I have 3 pairs ranging from knee high with heavy insulation to garden boots with no insulation...Geo

I might have posted this in the wrong section but I did want it to be seen and it is directly related to me using my guns hunting.
Has anyone got experience with these rubber boots? I am looking at the leather lined boots with full side zipper. They are not cheap so before I fork over the money just thought I'd ask here for comments. I have a pair....They are nice I'm not sure they are worth what they cost.

Sorry but in Britland Chameau are now far too common.
If you are spending that much I would rather spend a little more and get the better and significantlymore comfortable Dubarry's or the all leather Hunters, they also last longer.
The trouble with rubber boots and a zip is they always perish early in the zip gussetts as the rubber is thinner.

Nothing stinks worse than those nasty neoprene boots IMO. I have a couple of my employees who wear them for work. I make them bag them up before putting them in my Jeep as they stink something aweful. They have even tried spraying them but they still stink.

I like my pair. I find them lighter and less bulky than the LaCrosse boots I had before.

I don't have a problem with the "on" part of rubber boots. "Off" is tougher, especially if you've sweat a bit inside the boots. However, a boot jack in the garage makes it very easy, and it's not even all that big a chore when I'm hunting and I don't have the boot jack along.

I have to endorse the Du Barry's. All the gay men wear them.
