I bought a Bouvier 12gauge at the Vegas show Sunday i know nothing about the maker. The gun is a boxlock. It has nice wood ,ejectors ,3rd fastner , but barrels are tighter than full choke. I need information. Thanks

I looked at that gun several times. You got a nice one. I don't know the maker. Joe

I just looked it up in Carder. He doesn't list a Bouvier but he does list a Boudier. However all he says is French proof marks, Sidelock, double trigger, English stock, Fancy wood, and Straight grip. Hope that helps. Stevve

When I lived in the Bay Area back in the '70's our neighbor had a Bouvier. Looked like a giant black Schnauzer. Very friendly dog.

We have lived with Bouvier des Flanders for more than 35 years. Often two at a time. Great dogs.

I need information. Thanks There were Bouviers in France working as gun makers and dealers from 1651 through 1970. Without more info.... Pete
