I have a Model 21 Winchester with a single tigger. I am just curious when measuring the Length of pull do you measure from the front of the single trigger to the end of the buttstock, or to a position forward where a 2nd trigger would normally be positioned?

Seems logical to me that you measure from the single trigger. Your hand has been moved to fit the existing trigger and that affects your whole upper body anatomy. What say ye all?

You measure from the single trigger's leading edge (furthest point to rear) to the center of the buttstock.
For a double trigger gun you are correct that you measure from the front trigger and the same point on the trigger as noted above.

Yes, that is where your finger is going to be placed on a single trigger double. Buttstocks for a single trigger gun should be longer than a comparable double trigger Gun.

When I measure LOP on a single trigger gun, it's always from the saddle or gullet of the trigger to the center of the butt.
On a double trigger gun, I measure from the saddle of the front trigger to the center of the butt.
I expect any sales clerk or gunsmith to use these same reference points.
