Americase would probably customize something for you.
Might be $$ but it would last forever.

Chuck: If you can't find anything ready-made, you may want to look into having something custom-built. There are guys who specialize in case restoration, etc., but you might also consider a saddlemaker. I've had good although somewhat pricey results with a couple of LOM restorations. TT

Who makes an individual barrel case besides Perazzi? You might consider a leather or canvas covered custom fly rod case. Check out ebay. They had a nice looking "second" leather case for less than $50.00 listed a few days agi but it was too short for my barrels.

I would probably start with 6061 almuninum, maybe even PVC and cover it with leather if you want something nice. leather cap on one end would close with a snap, other sewed to the long piece that covers the pipe. Leather or cloth bag for the barrels.

There are cases for pool cues. They come in many styles and designs. A couple sitting around here could easily adapt to barrels. The two here measure 30"-32".

I scored a couple of these at the local archery Mom&Pop. They had two lengths and the short one will accommodate two 30" O/U Perazzi bbls with plenty of pad with no trouble. Might not be up to airline sturdy but way past excellent for the safe and trips to the club. WtS Approved http://www.mtmcase-gard.com/products/archery/arrow-cases-ultra-compact.htmlHTH Dr.WtS

Chuck, would you please explain why you would need a case just for an individual set of barrels? It would seem to me that you would want to store/transport them with the gun they fit, what am I missing?

OK, Thanks all for the ideas. The case would be for the original Parker Reproduction 28g barrels from my gun, which was purchased for the non-existant Galazan .410 barrels...if the Galazan barrels show up soon. I see very little use for the 28g barrels and would likely put them away to be lost until archeologists dig thru my house in 2 or 3 millenia.

OH, In that case, PVC tubing and screw ends, with dessicant inside is a VERY secure way. Mike
