Original 22� barrel, great bore, crowned at 9-42 date mark. Ramp front sight with Marbles bead, Redfield micro adjust rear receiver sight, high numbered action with the most interesting serial number (3234323) of any gun I�ve ever owned!
Commercial American walnut stock with cheekpiece, hand-checkered, ebony forend tip, black grip cap, 14� LOP. Has cracked Whiteline pad.
Not a Sedgley, but no doubt a professional/commercial Sporter conversion, very well and completely done. In excellent used condition, shoot well, functions perfectly. $875 shipped/insured. I went to look at a handgun collection last week, one was listed as a 99% M1955, a 5 screw. Upon closer inspection it was refinished, and badly. Did manage to get a 5 screw K-22 Combat Masterpiece and some other Colts.

What model S&W's are interesting you these day's Steve?

How much does the Springfield weigh? How many grooves in the barrel?

It weighs 8lb 5 oz as you see it and has 4 grooves in the barrel.

Have you had it out of the wood so you could see a possible maker's initials and raise the price? Just kidding, of course. Nice gun anyone would love to shoot.
