Hi,
I have a A.J. Aubrey with twist steel bbls. It is tight and in great condition sn. 323xx. The bbls. mike id. .715! Is this normal? It seems at least ten thousands too tight!

In vintage American doubles I have measured the inside diameters of bores of 12-gauge chambered guns as tight as .708" and a wide as .757". I've got a Baker 10-gauge with bores that measure .750".

They sound normal. The were sold full & full. You could get Extra full if you wanted.
