picked up one of these at cabelas. couple cracks to forend, stock otherwise OK, would look better with a refinish, blue is xlnt, 2-barrelled set matching numbers, made in 1970, $250. i figured had to be worth that. took it out yesterday and ran 200rds thru it in 100deg+ texas heat as fast as i could load the trap and gun (barely over an hour) with no malfunctions of any sort. trigger and selector both worked flawlessly.

but - and i knew this when i got it - the rods that trip the ejectors had been removed. doesn't seem to be a source of parts for these at all. looking at a schematic, the older Franchi o/u's appear to have the same set-up. whether or not the geometry is the same you can't tell from a picture. i could care less abt ejectors personally but i know whenever i try to sell it buyers will run it down over that.

anybody ever had to deal with this on these guns before?
