I know I have asked you about Double Eagle Trading Company and William Larkin Moorie, concerning the guns they sell. I appreciate all of the feedback I have recevied. Now, I have another question to ask you. What do you know about the Franchi Renaissance Sporting Clay Model in 12 gauge? I was in Dawson's Gun Shop, which is in Woodbridge, Va. and they had one. It had 30" barrels that were ported, screw in chokes, and the adjustable comb stock. I put the gun to my shoulder and it felt pretty nice. They want $1932 for it and it comes with a case. My questions are: how good are the Franchis and how would it be for trap shooting? I have read, both, good and bad about them. I remember when I worked for Galyan's Sporting Goods we sold, both, the autos and a couple of the over and unders. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
