Maybe in Germany, but it is a U.S. of A. market gun & I do wonder if that case by Brauer Bros Manuf. Co in St. Louis is original?? If so, maybe it was a firearms merchant there that sold it?

With just the Doll's Head Extension, regarding inlands, if it had Weapons Grade Steel, it would probably a Modell Nr. 8C. But this example just wears typical Krupp Tubes. There was a Modell 10 but it was equipped with Purdey Extension and arrived on the scene circa 1930.
So some special order for an embellished Modell Nr. XVII by an American Retailer.
