The Maryland Gun Collectors (Baltimore) show is this weekend, is anyone planning to go. I have planned to go for a number of years but never have. Thought I would give it a try on Saturday. My interest, custom sporting rifles.

Custom sporting rifles are not a primary display item at this show. However, a search may turn something up. They are a primary interest for me, but I won't be bringing any to sell or trade. My tables are B-4 and B-5 and only one sales table split with my partner. Not much to see. Our display table features X Grade Fox shotguns. That should be interesting.

Never been there, but on my bucket list. I understand the show is almost exclusively antique arms, which I love!

I haven't missed one of these shows since I attended my first one in 1971. Rare was the time I didn't come away with a delicacy- single shots, Springfields, Winchesters have marched out the doors in my hands.

While my interest is post war custom sporters, I do enjoy looking at earlier collector guns. Winchesters, Savages and what ever else. I may not find anything to carry away, but it still sounds like a fun way to spend the day. Then I'll find out for myself. I do have a bucket list on what I'm looking for, so I do have to stay focused. I've come to realize I can't own them all.
