Barrel is 26” , .6 at muzzle 3 grooves. Don’t know if you guys saw my link to pictures with markings

The mark under the JP at the front sight looks like a round bomb with a fuse burning

Looks like a M1917 replacement barrel.

The estate it came from had an ugly sporterised 1917

Jerry measure the barrel shank; 1903 is 1.040" diameter x .734 long, 1917 is 1.125 x .800
