Joe Salter has a truly beautiful single shot .25-35 Webley action stalking rifle (apparently originally a rook rifle) that has been rebarreled but is still well, WOW. It apparently came in today.

It's his stock number 34528. Just a wee bit pricey for me (about $7K too pricey), but very much worth a long, longing look.

The round block Webley's are cute little rifles. The lack of a saftey I have always found troublesome. This one is not pretty but the chambering and addition of a safety make in interesting.

Great looking lines on that buttstock! Not so hot about the lever and front end of the girl.

Thanks Steve~~
Lovely rifle, quality and condition override the lever design. great job on the rebarrel, reblue.
Thanks for showing!!

Yes, I don't think anything could override that lever design for me! That's one ugly lever. It is interesting, and have no idea how the price vs. value is. But I'd buy a bunch of other single shots before I spent $7k on that one.
