My history of the gun spanning 40 years of on and off ownership and photos and description of what has been done to the gun since my reacquisition over 9 years ago has been described at the link below. Recently taken photos are of higher quality than in thread link below. Bore measurements are as follows: R: .775, choke: .040 at muzzle end R with tapering from bore starting at about 3.4” +/- from muzzle end; L: .775 bore, choke: .043 muzzle end taper beginning at 3.4”+/- from muzzle end. Barrel thicknesses at muzzle: .125” No pits. Clean and bright bores. Weight: 11lbs. 1 oz.; 32” barrels, 3.5” chambers, BLE Price $2,150. Serial number in photos at the below link. Gil

This is a fine gun for anyone serious about long range waterfowling with doubleguns. I recently visited with Gil and looked it over closely. Were it not that I just recently bought two 10 ga. guns he would have gone back to Savannah without it.

Here's a use for the double that I hadn't contemplated. Deer drives. A buddy in the lowcountry uses his for deer drives shooting factory Federal 00 buckshot. The prior owner to him had Briley chokes installed. he has shot ducks and geese all over the SE with it shooting Tungsten matrix or bismuth Federals. Here's his gun.

Started collecting ddls 1980.When I was a teenager in the 70s had 25 plus deer dogs ran a model Ithaca 37.Miss my walkers.
