How do you prevent safety over travel on a Lefever? I know it’s designed to be able to over travel so you can lock the safety off with the little screw in the tang. However, on this gun, the trigger safety tips are those stupid tiny ones, so the slightest distance past safe and you are not safe, such as pushing the safety forward, changing your mind and putting back on safe manually. The gun can fire. Normal operation is repeatedly fine, and manual manipulation is not consistently fine.

I’ve seen plenty of Lefever triggers. These look ridiculous. Between the pivot points and the safety tips, the metal has horizontal cuts in the them, and what seems like stretching, like extruded metal grate.

Something else that has happened with this gun:

Right hammer will sometimes fall when moving the safety off. Not all the time, of course.
