Are there recommended ways to cover a small bright rubbed spot on an otherwise OK Damascus finish? Ant suggestions appreciated.

A dab of rust bluing solution on the end of a pointed makeup applicator. Allow to rust. Card. Repeat. If Black & White, steam after each rusting.
