Has anyone here tried this new powder? I just saw an ad in the newest Guns & Ammo.
Thanks,

http://www.alliantpowder.com/ has a link to data for STS, AAHS, and Federal hulls. Recipes for 1200, 1225, and 1250 fps. Pressures not listed there, although they may be shown in the main load data pages at Alliant. Alliant claims extremely clean burning, which would distinguish it from Unique - not that the residue from Unique ever caused me any problems. Charge weights or 20/28 in 28 gauge appear similar to Unique, at least for 1200 fps in AAHS.

I have not tried it, yet.

An article by someone who tried it. http://www.mynssa.com/ssr/Alliant%202028.pdf
Pressures are given for the loads at this site. A pressure under 8,000 psi with Federal hulls.

Another note by someone who used it. http://www.sportingclays.net/forums/thread.cfm?threadid=3814&messages=1

Priced a little higher per lb than R. Dot, G. Dot, Unique and Herco at http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/index.html , but its price compares well with other brands listed there.
