I think it's beautiful! The lovely French curves reminds me of a 1939 Delahaye! Classic design for a low profile. The adjustable cheek piece looks like a poor afterthought though, shoulda left the wood alone.

I just bought one!! Awesome gun!!
Posted By: RARiddell Re: one ugly gon - 06/30/23 10:59 AM
I love mine, nice lines, light weight, assisted self opening, quality wood and fully customizable. It’s a technological spin on a simple design and it’s designed for plug and play with no hand fitting of parts. Extremely easy for a complete breakdown, and troubleshooting any issues is easy,as there aren’t many parts. We have a complete shooting setup with accessories , two barrels one for upland keeping the gun at 6 1/2lbs and one setup with accessories for clays converting the gun to 7 3/4lbs. I really like it, they just need to make it in 28.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we all have different taste, in matters of taste there can be no dispute.

Not my kind of gun, however the Italian styling linked with the most modern design make it interesting.

There are many good designs, be it engraver-stock styling-shape, out there they do not appeal to me. Some appeal widely, some have a niche following like an Edsel.

I would think it is about which vehicle you show up to the range in Lamborghini or Land Rover.

I much prefer hammers on my shotguns but it might be fun to spend a day shooting some SC with it.

All kinds of hucksters on here. There’s a fellow somwar in Jawja that tries to pass hisself off as a red blooded American free enterprise capitalist but in reality is nuthin more than a big gubmint gimmie gimmie socialist.

Another quarter just about in the books. Probably do some accounting this weekend and get ready to send my quarterly payment to Uncle Sam. You’re welcome, Jawja Boy.

ed,
No, I don't want a purple truck or pink hair (I would like some hair though), but if you want them, I'm OK with that.

You didn't hurt my feelings, Ed. I was just pullin' your leg. I wouldn't buy one of those things. That's the ugliest gun I ever saw. smile

It is an owner serviceable OU, perhaps the only one on the market. In the current EU gun regulations it makes sense. Sending a shotgun to the maker for service, repair or warranty work requires four permits, export permit, import permit, then export and another import permit for a gun which is already licensed and registered to the owner. Each permit takes time and money to obtain. The 828 lets you fit the stock, pull the action, even mess with the top rib on your own. Looks are not to my taste either, but all the people I met who bought one, like it.

It sounds as if the only thing this gun is missing is an attractive appearance. The people who frequently say that life is too short to shoot an ugly gun were obviously thinking about this. If someone gave one to me, I'd have to sell it. Or maybe I would donate it to the Preacher so he could have a real live gun without thin pitted barrels, instead of a collection of gun pictures.

But some gun owners think Joe Biden is a good president, which shows there's no accounting for tastes. Sorry if I offended anyone... except for the Biden voters.

In 1962 Charles de Gaulle's Citroen DS 19 was shot 140 times including 4 flat tires during an assassination attempt and the car sped away due to its superior suspension. He credited the car for saving his life. Gil
