Time to consider contributing something to Dave who has run this site for 22 years. This is a free-wheeling and innovative place. It can be rough and tumble. But he's done a great job over the past 4 years moderating it. It's still my favorite gun site and not a week goes by that I don't learn something. Gene Williams

I have no Idea where this list is and don't much care. I contribute a bit to websites which are game changers...Wikipedia for example. This site is one of them. We all need to take stock of what we are offered by this communication environment and support the independent sites which we learn from.

Gene, on the General Discussion page there is a forum entitled "Friends of the DoubleGun BBS @ doublegunshop.com - Thank you". When you go there you can see a sub-forum for each year, going back through 2013. The list of contributors is there for each year.

It is Dave's way of recognizing, publicly, those who contribute.

Thanks Stanton. I prefer to distribute contributions to sites worth a hoot. This is one of them.

On Wikipedia, if you for instance are going out to Mauritania and want to have a clue about the society, castes, racial antagonism, tribal breakdown, etc., you can't find diddly in English in books. But start with "Sufi" and continue and pretty soon you'll have a more complete understanding of that society than you could find perusing a library for 50 years.

This site is the same. Ask a technical question it will be answered. These are the types of engineering, fact based sites that are worth supporting..more so unfortunately than subscribing to most of our current legacy media.

I agree, Gene, which is why I also support this site. I will continue to do so as long as it produces the amount of helpful information it does, thanks to so many more knowledgeable people than myself.

There are those on other doublegun sites who badmouth this one, because of the trolls here. As I said on one of those sites recently, in a discussion about this one, "I never minded wading through some rough stuff to get to a good duck hole."
