Looking for a smith who knows how double barrel guns work. Not a smith that makes AR's or one that does spray on finishes and calls himself a gunsmith. One that can fabricate a part.

Any recommendations? I'd prefer somewhat local. So KY, IN, OH, TN, MO, IL.

battle, this won’t help you but for folks in the west & western Midwest, Karl Casebeer, Living Springs Gunsmithing, east of Denver in Strasburg, CO, is just the kind of gunsmith you’re looking for. He’s gotten one of my classics back in action by building the no-longer-available part and last week when I was there he had a sxs apart on the bench making a cocking rod for it.

High Lomas, Elkhart Lake, WI. He made a hammer for my AYA #2. Great job, reasonable price.
