Thanks ! I should buy a lottery ticket!
Mark are you planning on making a new label from the Photo. If so how? I'm in the same boat have a couple of photos but no label.
That is the plan. At this point I have no idea how to do that. One thing at a time. Finding out what the label looked like is a big step.
I have made a few labels from photographs. They actually came out quite well. I used part of a manila folder and my home printer. Using the manila folder half [or a bit smaller] as the "paper" in the printer, I got very nice results.
Daryl, is the manila folder thin enough to go through the printer. I'll have to play with this. Thanks
I have the proper thin cut leather for the making of trade labels
John Boyd
Thanks John, I'll be in touch.
Eis, yes the manila folder paper goes through the printer just fine.
I was told there was a gentleman back east named Miester that did trade labels. Anybody know anything about that?
Were you thinking of Messina?
That is possible, I don't know. Any leads?
Mark,
The last contact information that I have is:

Hope this helps,

Depending on what you want, Mark, you can start by buying some HP Advanced photo paper that is thicker than printer paper but will still load and cycle through an inkjet printer -- at least it does on my HP 8620. I've done a few labels that way and then cut to size and glued them into the gun case.
Plan B, and I have not yet tried it, would be to glue thin leather onto the appropriate size of printer paper and see if it will cycle through your printer.
