Any suggestions on a free,no strings, user friendly hosting site?
I have used Hunt 101 for years but they have changed their policy/format and the new sign up conditions sound scary. Thanks

Imgur here too. Easy and fast to use (to me).

Terry, my phone auto loads to Phu'bucket. I download from it to my computer and use http://www.jpgbox.com/ to upload. I can still view old PB photos via Chrome and Firefox after loading the free "fixes". Jpgbox doesn't require registration; you can and they'll store in albums, but I prefer to do the "one off" procedure. Gil

Photobucket still works fine for me.

I added the Chrome extension that was recommended here as a fix for Photobucket and it seems to work for most photos: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-embedded-imag/ogipgokcopooepeipngiikdkpmcpkaon

I installed the PhotoBucket extension for Firefox some time ago on my Mac and all PB hosted photos on all of the forums that I use work fine.

I've been using postimage.com. Very easy to use. No bother.

After Photobucket shook down the whole internet, can you trust them not to do it again somehow or to even be here next year? And the photo fix works for Firefox and Chrome but not for Safari. So if you post a photo bucket image, some still can't see it. I've also found past lines where even the fix won't bring up the image.

I'm using tinypic.com. It is owned by photobucket so guess it's a turnoff for many. But it's free for now and very easy and quick to upload and post.

Argo I wondered what image site you were using. Your excellent photos seem to take a very long time to load on this BBS. I'm still using PB while whatever deal I have lasts (I haven't paid them any ransom), but I'm sure they'll get around to kidnapping my pictures sooner or later...Geo

Thanks for the info guys. Gil and Karl, I tried jpgbox and managed a post on the 10 ga. thread which was relatively painless.

I've been using imgur. Find it very easy to use and better than photobucket as far as I'm concerned. Even if there is a way to get photobucket working again they can kiss my a__ _!

Terry, I used jpgbox for awhile but when I tried to post text..the resolution wasn't high enough to read it. With postimage.com, the resolution as is - is high enough to read the text and you have the option of jacking it up. And it's the simplest, least encumbered, site I've found. And you don't even have to join if you don't want to. My $.02.
