What is a 16/20 Merkel SxS. Is that a gauge, or a model #?
Also, where can I find some vintage german shotgun cleaning equipment?

I own 3 Merkel's in 28, 20, and 12 guage, and enjoy them all. The Merkel 1620 model was special because they offered it's 16 gauge shotgun built on a 20 gauge frame, a sweet handling gun for sure. The weight was just over 6 lbs. if I remember. Merkel made their shotguns on dedicated frames except the 16 and .410 gauges.

Hooked on German shotguns are we? Easy to do. I would look first on E Bay because there is always vintage stuff being sold on there.
