While everyone is concentrating on the Presidential election I wish to stress a point here that we can scarcely overlook. 46 Members of the U S Senate voted to essentially concede our 2nd Amendment rights to the U N.
If any of these Libtards represent your State I'd strongly recommend that you do whatever you can to get them out of office come November if they are up for re-election.
Jim

The U.N. Resolution 2117 lists 21 points dealing with firearms control, but perhaps of most interest is point number 11. It āCALLS FOR MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION and DISARMAMENT of all UN countriesā.

By a 53-46 vote - The U.S. Senate voted against the U.N. resolution. HOORAY.

This is that brief, glorious moment in history when everyone stands aroundā¦ reloading.

Now, Which 46 Senators voted to destroy us? Well, let their names become known! See below. If you vote in one of the states listed with these 46 ālegis..traitorsā ā¦ vote against them.

In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The Statement of Purpose from the Senate Bill reads: "To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty."

The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry, now get this, on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly,46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N.:

Baldwin (D-WI)

Baucus (D-MT) (this IS a surprise one)

Bennett (D-CO)

Blumenthal (D-CT)

Boxer (D-CA)

Brown (D-OH)

Cantwell (D-WA)

Cardin (D-MD)

Carper (D-DE)

Harkin (D-IA)

Hirono (D-HI)

Kaine (D-VA)

King (I-ME)

Klobuchar (D-MN)

Landrieu (D-LA)

Leahy (D-VT)

Levin (D-MI)

McCaskill (D-MO)

Menendez (D-NJ)

Merkley (D-OR)

Mikulski (D-MD)

Murphy (D-CT)

Murray (D-WA)

Nelson (D-FL)

Reed (D-RI)

Reid (D-NV)

Rockefeller (D-WV)

Sanders (I-VT)

Schatz (D-HI)

Schumer (D-NY)

Shaheen (D-NH)

Stabenow (D-MI)

Udall (D-NM)

Warner (D-VA)

Warren (D-MA)

Whitehouse (D-RI)

Wyden (D-OR)

According to Snopes.com, a UN small arms treaty signed by the US provides a "legal way around the 2nd Amendment," is false... Max Baucus retired in 2014.

We say this just about every four years, but this coming election actually is about the future direction of this country. We are alarmingly moving further and further to the left.

Never mind your gun rights. If Hillary gets in you will see continuing deterioration of our basic rights and liberties. This next President will appoint at least one, and possibly more to the Supreme Court. Sadly, they have become just as political and corrupt as the current administration. If Hillary gets to put two on the bench, it will alter and affect this country for generations. And make no mistake. The question of the Second Amendment will be raised again.

Are you happy with the number of illegal aliens in this country? Hillary will just continue to leave the flood-gates open. Remember, their goal is to alter the demographics of this country. And, they are succeeding.

Sick of political correctness? It will get worse. Be prepared for "limited free speech" or a First Amendment "only if we agree," under a Hillary appointed Supreme Court.

Weak military? More of the same. The Clinton's despise the military and law enforcement. This is a proven fact.

While I am not impressed with the Republican side, any one of them is a better option than Clinton or Sanders. Look at it as stopping the bleeding until we have better options.

The mission for all gun owners should be to defeat the democrats. If you don't like the Republican candidate, look at it as voting against enemies of freedom rather than for the candidate. Hate to say that, but this is the way it is.

The media is 100% in the tank for Hillary, so again we will need to show up in force to counter the idiots who have no clue how to research or make their own decisions. They vote based on what they hear from "The View" or late-night comedians.

If you stay home because you can't support Trump, Cruz or whoever, you have no one to blame but yourself when your kids and grand-kids lose what we had for so many years.

Look at the Jewish surnames here- Blumenthal, Levin (my State), Franken (former SNL pratt-fall guy) WTF. Don't they remember the Holocaust- and that the first thing Herr Hitler did when he became Reich Chancellor was to disarm the population, and take over Simpson as it was owned by Jews. It can happen again, if that Uber-Kunt Billary becomes the next POTUS, she could possibly have 5 retiring.dying SCOTUS folks to replace- and she sure as scheise won't go to the Charlton Heston (50% Jewish lineage) playbook in her lib-turd choices. God help us..

I didn't post this primarily due to political reasons and even though all those that supported giving up our 2nd Amendment Rights are Democrats they have plenty of tacit support from RINO Republicans such as Arizona's two Senators McCain** and Flake. IMO this November's elections, and not just for the Presidency, will determine the ultimate fate of the United States and perhaps even if we continue to have a United States.
At the very least, ONE more Libtard Supreme Court appointment such as the last two, and Heller will probably be reversed. Clinton has already stated her belief that it was a bad decision and Sanders has stated his desire to confiscate "non-sporting" guns whatever those may be.
Get out and vote and try to get your family members and friends to do the same!
Jim

**Remember McCain and the bogus "Gun Show loophole"!

Does anyone here seriously think that the legal counsel for the NRA hasn't read the words of the U.N.treaty? We are against it for good reasons. Anyone here can go online and read it for themselves to see what it would mean if it was ever ratified by our Senate. I'm speaking of the entire U.N. Arms Trade Treaty.

Oh, by the way ekalaka, Max Baucus DID NOT retire in 2004 as you stated. He retired in 2014 after voting with 43 other Democrats and 2 Independents who went against Sen. James Inhofe's (R-Okla.) amendment to prevent the U.S. from entering the U.N. Small Arms Treaty. Time to remove your head from your posterior. Welcome on your first post, Troll.

Wow RWTF, ya gotta quit judging the ladies by the ones that you meet in dark allies.
You must know a different stripe of women than I have encountered. In my family, there is an attorney, a psychologist, and executive for a large golfing company, a project engineer for a major engineering company and my wife, a nuclear physicist. I have hunted with a female mayor, my doctor is a female as is our pastor.

Iowa's Harkin (D) also retired in 2014. Our junior senator, since the 2014 election, has been Joni Ernst (R). Formerly LTC Ernst, Iowa National Guard, and a combat veteran from Iraq.

Thanks- In case your High School (Alte Schul) German has slipped its moorings-- that means Children, Church and Cooking- I am a 100% Chouvanistic SOB- no denying that- But I am not a 100% mysoginist- I like women for what God gave them to men for-- we are to rule and govern, but NOT like King Henry 8th did with his wives- We are to protect and shelter them, as we would our young children, from the crapfests and shitstorms of the world- a world always run and based on political power, and the resultant struggles for control. WW2 may have saved FDR's ass from defeat against the "Barefoot Boy from Wall Street" in 1940, and after Pearl Harbor, brought about the end to the 1937 re-emergence of the Great Depression, but it always gave rise to women in the work force and later, women's Lib movements. ERA still means Earned Run Average to this old Mick.

I take a stab at answering this question. The "Democratic" Party of many of our blue collar parents began to disappear back in the 1970s. This was the party of JFK and the working class who I idolized as a teenager growing up in Massachusetts. The current "Democratic" Party is a party in name only. It has been taken over by communists who prefer the term socialist as it grates on less nerves. If JFK was alive today he would be a registered Republican and I expect even my own parents who remained "Democrats" until their deaths would have second thoughts.
The 2016 election will IMO determine the ultimate fate of the United States. A win by the "Democrats" will create a rift that IMO won't ever be bridged. What the ultimate outcome will be at this point is anyone's guess.

We don't have to re-invent the wheel--we already have a blueprint for the future via Europe. The Green Party in Germany supported mass immigration in order to garner votes, sort of like our undocumented Democrats...The Green Party later said "they didn't care" about the consequences (so long as they presumably had the votes) Wouldn't it be ironic, if in a divided country, the alien vote became the swing vote in elections!

I say, "Hillary for Prison 2016"

Jagermeister has spent much of his time here in total support of the type of politics that led to the situation he warns of in his link. He told us he proudly voted for the extreme anti-gunner Obama twice. I saw a tee shirt at a gun show yesterday that was directed toward guys like Jagermeister and our other anti-gun trolls who support and defend anti-gun politicians. Sheep go meekly to slaughter, pigs go squealing. Where does that leave us, the minority? In trouble. When the "majority" get to vote themselves endless amounts of your income, savings and wealth there is no reason to keep working harder to make them fatter.

And all the baby boomers are all going to retire in the next ten to fifteen years. Why does that matter you wonder? The baby boomers are the highest paid workers, small business owners and savers of money in this country. When they retire their tax revenue will be hard pressed to be replaced and they will go from payers into the system to takers out of the system, big time.

If not for two kids still finishing their educations I could retire today. Could do it anyways if I was willing to dip into savings to pay for their medical schools. Point is that my tax contributions will go from well over a hundred grand a year down to less than twenty. In fact my SS benefit should be much more than the taxes I pay into the system. And I am just one of a couple million, tens of millions of soon to retire baby boomers.

The cash flow problem headed for the US Government is a major concern. We have used T-Bills to keep the money flowing but that can't go on for ever. The traditional investors of T-Bill will be running out of money to invest as the oil dries up in the middle east, the baby boomers retire and Europe goes total Socialist.

How is the Democratic party going to keep spending other peoples money when we stop making it for them to spend? This run away train is about to run off the tracks and I for one do not look forward to the crash that must be coming. You can not spend five to ten percent more money every year than you take in for decades and not have a day of reckoning which is coming near.

I know that it is not going to be the end of the world but there will be real problems ahead. If you raise taxes back to 90% levels, like they were before, you know that money will go off shore, on paper, where you can not tax it at all. Money is just 1's and 0's in a digital world while people (governments) are still thinking of paper money and real estate, real property, real tangible assets which can be seized and confiscated by the government.

90% of the stock market or bank market could be moved off shore, by electronic trading, and then what would they do. Stocks are no longer paper certificates, real things you can hold and grab but numbers and numbers can be moved anywhere. You will see big companies shielding profits by sending them off shore or never bringing them into this country. This shell game will just get more complex as time goes by as it will become an industry in its' own right as companies figure out ways to save billions in taxes by just moving money, 1's and 0's, on computers, to places we can not see them or find them.

KY Jon:
I was a finance major in college back when you actually had to study and do work to earn a college degree. The picture you paint IMO is accurate and it's just a matter of time before we run out of resources to shore up a bankrupt government and a majority population which apparently doesn't believe it's necessary to work and pay your own way. So far we have survived 8 years of this but we've paid a heavy cost with the doubling of our National debt and declines in many other areas.
The 2016 elections will again IMO be the determinant factor in deciding our future. If the Socialists prevail you can count the remaining years the United States is actually the United States on your fingers and you won't need all of them.
It's a disaster just waiting to happen!

Well Geo, I guess we can confidently say that you must earn more than $250,000 per year since King and Jagermeister's president Barack Hussein Obama said he would not raise taxes on anyone making less than that amount. Just remember that money can't buy happiness, but it can get you a lot of sexy girls.

Of course, the Obama administration also argued before the Supreme Court that ObamaCare was Constitutional because it was a tax. I wonder why the Dems aren't all up in arms like they were when after they talked George Bush 41 into breaking his "No new taxes!" pledge?

There are three different meanings that come to my mind quickly.

Yada is a Hebrew word that means “to know”.

Yada, yada yada. Meaning. A disparaging response, indicating that something previously said was predictable, repetitive or tedious.

Or its an anachronism. Yada is your a dumb a.., well you get the picture.

I was thinking more in the second meaning but choose which ever one you want. I've used it in all three ways.
Posted By: ed good Re: Memo for November Elections - 04/15/16 12:02 AM
well, "yada yada yada", in nyc slang, is a response to someone who keeps saying the same thing over and over again, as if we did not get it the first time...

a more polite response is "enough already"...

and a less polite response is "shut the f--k up!"...
