Were the post war German GECO boxlock shotguns likely manufactured in the same factory as the Sauer/Merkel/Simsons? If so are they likely of equal quality?
It gets a bit convoluted post war....I think the Merkel/Simson/Fortuna/Haenel were made east Germany....Sauer/Geco were west Germany.....The Geco was usually a simpler less ornate gun
