Today I've got my belgian Double. Any comments are welcome as usual.
I think it was made in 1929 (h), but there are some marks I cannot interprete as the EW on the watertable and the JT on the barrels…..
If I'm right, I'm only the third owner, please note the condition of the screws…!

That's how I've got it:

Thanks for the pictures. Really nice. A 12b I suppose? Now, if you will tell me how to stop from turning green.

That is a well done boxlock. If it were mine, I would sell the white line pad to jOe, and look into a more fitting replacement, perhaps a leather covered pad.

Best,
Ted

Looks good & even better that all the pins are indexed and unbuggered.
Your EW may be Emile Warnant of Liege, did not check the relevant dates against your Proof Marks. There is also the Thonon family who may have been barrel makers.
You will find both of these here : - http://www.littlegun.be/arme%20belge/a%20a%20artisans%20identifies%20gb.htm

Ted, I think I will do so. It has 37 cm and I need 40-41 cm! So, I will ask my Gunstockmaker for the best solution.

Stallones, great! Is it possible to see some pics of yours?
Yes, the "h" seems to stand for 1929.
Appreciate your input very much,
thanks Gunwolf
