Does anybody know how much it sold for?

I was told it brought $25,000. If that's correct, it was a real buy.

But I think it may have been out of proof...

I asked before the auction, and they said no apparent evidence of reproof for the 2 3/4" chambers.

Maybe I was wrong, but I figured those damascus barrels must have been originally chambered 2 1/2".
