Originally had trouble with the extractor being able to press back into the barrel with the action was open. Had it tig welded to them reshape to address that problem. Failure.

If the extractor is pulled out (manually), closing the action properly depresses the extractor into the barrel, but the shells are not raised when the action breaks open. So I didn't have enough added, or I took too much material back off. I think the material on the knuckle facing end would be what would raise the hulls, and keep them raised.

Does anyone have one of these pieces handy, and be willing to trace the shape for me? This is the last thing to address to get a neglected G grade back in use.

Thanks.
