Hey guys, i bought this Beretta last week for shooting some sporting clays as a backup gun for my Blaser F3 and using it as a wing shooting gun for all my needs. It has 28 inch barrels with 2 3/4 chambers and mobile chokes. It has been restocked at some point as it would seem. I really couldnt find any reference nor information about this 682L model. Looking for some educated information on this particular gun. Posting pictures.

All the best!

A 682L is a very rare gun. It is an engraving and wood upgraded 682. That is probably the original buttstock, but the forend is a replacement. Rich Cole can sell you a correct forend that has a matching checkering pattern to the buttstock. That forend you have is from a later 687 series. Great gun, congratulations.

No. Built to shoot and shoot a lot, the 682 is a little heavier framed than the 686/687 field gun. Probably the most reliable o/u design extant. Michael McIntosh called the Beretta 680 series "the over and under shotgun perfected". Enjoy.

Strange to me this gun has mechanical triggers instead of inertia. Is it a conversion or built this way? Just wondering.

To my understanding, they are an inertia trigger, but can be modified in some way to behave almost like a mechanical trigger. I may be wrong about this.
