Why do we never hear of bird hunting in Brazil? Seems a country so vast would have outstanding opportunities.

Good question. Brazil has huge agricultural areas, growing corn, wheat and soybeans. Much like Cordoba in Argentina. You would think there would be lots of doves in those areas, anyway.

Head hunters eat the bird hunters.
A true sign of mental illness is any gun owner who would vote for an Anti-Gunner like Joe Biden.

Well, I did a search for the subject and am astounded to find that all hunting in Brazil is illegal--zip, zap, final. What a resource to go to waste! Might be the canary in the coalmine warning of what could happen here if the Bambi crowd ever have their way.

Guessing the authorities are not too keen about guns in private hands.

It seems strange considering the number of guns Taurus manufactures in Brazil. Of course, the vast majority are handguns.
Maybe they could be lured to a more gun friendly environment like Texas. I doubt if New York or Kalifornia will be rolling out the welcome mat.

Their country their choice. I won't be contributing anything to save the rain-forests now that I know...Geo
