Denny's has shot right up there with Starbuck's coffee as representatives of the good guys and a supporter of our rights.

I posted this over here in the "mainstream" area of the forum in the hopes that we'll all let Denny's know we appreciate their support. It's difficult to find a company in this day and age with the backbone to stand up for what's right and both Denny's and Starbuck's should be commended for doing so.
I recommend that you email Denny's and let them know. you appreciate it
Jim

Starbucks stood up to the liberal gun grabbers and refused to bar open carry patrons from their stores where it is legal. A gutsy stand IMO.

FWIW when I lived in NE Illinois Denny's was one of the few places that made a proper omelet, most places in the Chicago area make what's called a "scramble" in other parts of the country and they're crap. Basically in a scramble the components that are normally steamed or sauted are just mixed in and cooked with the eggs, typically they aren't even steamed or sauted before mixing and cooking, that's your standard Chicago area omelet, yech! Though I've had better, Denny's omelets were always properly made and in NE Illinois Denny's is where I'd go for omelets.

Denny's--Bob Evans-Cracker Barrel-- all will serve grits on order up here in Damn Yankee Land--Bob Evans' are the best, IMO, and I love my grits- a little butter, salt and pepper to taste- But I do patronize Denny's whenever I'm hungry for a real good omelette- they make 'em right- time after time. Now Starbucks- that's a surprise- I have Denny's as a solid working man's short order restaurant-good food and good coffee, easy to get in, get a good meal and then to work-- But I had pegged both Starbuck's and Biggby coffee places as more geared towards the Yuppie Trendy crowd, who will shell out a fiver for a double mocha latte-I take mine black, no cream or sugar- thanks- so all the flavored frothy stuff is wasted money for me- but I may have to drop in and buy a standard issue coffee from Starbucks after their guts-ball stand on the right to carry--Look at how many wacked out druggies and sociopaths have gone into any of the public restaurants or coffee places and done great harm to innocent people therein- one well trained person carrying- case closed, end of story--
