I have a 201 EL, explanation as above, they call it a "Luxus" grade, apparently meaning luxery.

When I was looking at the Merkels recently, I recalled 3 grades of each model: 360, 360E, and 360EL. Would the "E" stand for engraved?

No, it would stand for: 360 = non ejector 360E = ejector 360EL = ejctors and luxury wood I looked at the Merkel site. http://www.merkel-usa.com/core.php?dat=Y...TMwJnN1Yk5hdj0x360, 360E, and 360EL all have ejectors standard. "E" means something besides "ejectors". Or look here http://www.merkel-usa.com/core.php?dat=Y...TI5JnN1Yk5hdj0xAll the models have ejectors. The 1620, 1620E, and 1620EL all have ejectors. The "E" grade guns have a silvered and game scene engraved reciever, with a mid grade wood. This applies to the 360 series as well as all the other models except the 47 model. http://www.merkel-usa.com/core.php?dat=Y...TI5JnN1Yk5hdj0x
