As I got home tonight & read through these 9 pages I was simply overwhelmed. What can one say except thanks to all of you for so much caring. Alfred (my son-in-law) wqs on his way to work & best we cam determine likely hit a patch of Black Ice. The road veered slightly to thee left kust prior to entering a bridge, & he just didn't veer, but centered the concrete wall on the right side. Fortunately, no one else was involved. His neck was snappep & from all indications death was instantaneous. Also both arms were broken which leads us to believe he did see it coming & Braced. Otherwise we might have more strongly suspicioned something caused a blackout of some type. I have ridden with him on numerous occasions & never saw him drive in a reckless manner. He was a professional driver working for his dad in a small trucking Co. Recently he had being doing more office work than actual road time, but he hadn't forgotten how to drive.
So many thoughts, I simply can't remember them all.
Bobby sorry for your loss, I have several brother-in-laws I think very highly of & I lost one to a coal mine over 30 yrs ago.
As I grew up on a small farm my dad always went around singing, one song he sang a lot was "His Eye is on the Sparrow". Still a favorite of mine, thanks for the reminder & the memory.
My wife did accompany me to school, so was not without support, but still hard. The school was also extremely supportive. They have a fantastic guidance councellor, & they brought my Grandaughter, Casey, there along with her regular teacher & another teacher who is a very dear friend of hers.
Thanks simply to all, Words just cannot describe how much this great responce means to me.
We do have great faith in our savior, so will for certain be relying on his help.
