I commented before on the other thread, so I'll comment here. Nice little gun, very similar to one I offered for sale several years ago. I love the blued frame, vent rib, and double triggers. If I owned it, it would be my favorite shooting gun. The Juglans Regia has much more streaking than the one I had. Maybe this is Jack O'Connor's gun??

That crossed cannons with a '2' in the middle was a final black powder proof, one shot per barrel at 8,818 psi and was used between December 14, 1929 to July 9, 1931. The other proof mark on the flats shows that the gun was reproofed after 1931. Does that make any sense? Plus that 'F' mark takes it back to 1933, if that's just a 'F' and not an 'FA'. I can't find what 'FA' means. Some what confusing!

The 'F A' is the mark for Eusebio Arizaga.
It looks like there is a 'U' with an '*' over it on the flats just above the lump. That shows it was proofed in 1950.

A number of years ago, ARt Foley of Arms de Chasse was importing some of these guns. It was Arigaza. Not not sure if it was the same first name of the maker or not, but same last name. He show me one at the Vegas gun show. Naturally he wanted me to buy a few. When I took the looks off I told Art that it looked like blind monkeys made them, the insides were super crude. He imported a few but it did not pan out. Slightly lated Jimmy Austin from New England Arms Co, brought in a few and then did not.
