Ok I guess that I'll weigh in on the lead contamination issue. It is a falacy. Lead is a very stable element. It does not leach into the soil or water, unless the soil or water is either very alakline or very acid. If the soil is fertile it is neither, and the water would have to come out of a mine to be able to leach lead. It will develope a thin white crust and do nothing more.

Basically lead stays where you put it, and not much else.

Many US goverment reports on this. I have read some of them, very dry reading I might add. It is a ploy to play on the hysterics of the population.
