French are very fond of "smallbore" double rifles and I check from time to time what might be new there. Today I was surprised by a new line of o/u double rifles, called Luger Express, chambered for 8x57IRS and 9.3x74R. They look nice and are not expensive at 1500 euros ($2.2K). I made a bit of research and it would seem that these guns are Turkish, made by same factory as Huglu. Which is kinda surprising as I remember reading not long ago that Huglu will never make rifles due to legal restrictions.
In any case, an interesting little rifle IMO.

Jani,

I only found 1 site with any information:
http://www.poirsonarmurerie.com/index.asp?ID=394&id_sous_menu=34&F3=Chasse

Hard to tell from the small photographs about the quality of this gun. I am not sure if they will be available in the USA or if this is strictly a European offering. I noticed they are charging a premium for 9.3x74R of 190€.

French do have a wider selection on the 8x57 and 9.3 double rifles.
Here they are not popular at all.
I always fancied a rizzini in 30.6 for stalking for some weird reason.
http://www.safari-sport.fr/fusil_express.htm this link has a real pic of one at the bottom of the page.
